End of Tenancy Deep Clean for a Two-Bedroom Flat in Glasgow

A tenant contacted Advanced Cleaning Services because they were moving out of a two-bedroom flat and needed the property cleaned before their final inspection. The flat was in reasonable condition, but the tenant was concerned about areas that had built up over time, especially in the kitchen and bathroom.

The Situation:

The kitchen had grease on cupboard fronts, marks around handles, food crumbs inside drawers, limescale around the sink, and build-up around the hob and extractor area. The bathroom had limescale on taps, soap residue around the shower screen, dust around the extractor fan, and marks on tiles and flooring.

The tenant wanted the property to look as clean and presentable as possible before handing the keys back.

The Challenge:

End of tenancy cleans require more detail than a general house clean. Landlords and letting agents often check areas that are easy to miss during regular cleaning, including inside cupboards, skirting boards, door frames, light switches, taps, plug sockets, appliance edges, bathroom fittings, and flooring corners.

The challenge was to clean the property thoroughly within the agreed time and make sure the main inspection areas were properly covered.

What We Did:

Our team carried out a full top-to-bottom clean of the flat, starting with the kitchen. We cleaned cupboard fronts, handles, worktops, splashbacks, sink area, taps, hob area, extractor surface, inside drawers, inside cupboards, and all reachable surfaces.

In the bathroom, we focused on limescale, soap residue, shower screen marks, taps, tiles, toilet area, sink, mirrors, flooring, and high-touch points. We used products suitable for each surface to help remove build-up without damaging fittings.

We also cleaned bedrooms, living areas, hallways, doors, skirting boards, switches, sockets, internal windowsills, floors, and other commonly missed areas. Throughout the clean, we checked each room carefully to make sure the property was left fresh, hygienic, and ready for inspection.

BEFORE AFTER

The Result:

The flat looked cleaner, brighter, and much more presentable. The kitchen and bathroom showed the biggest difference, with grease, dust, limescale, and everyday build-up removed from key areas.

The customer said they felt much more confident handing the property back and appreciated that the team focused on the details that mattered most for an end of tenancy inspection.

Customer Outcome:

The tenant was able to attend the final check-out knowing the property had been professionally cleaned. The landlord had a cleaner property ready for the next stage, whether that was viewings, new tenants, or maintenance.

Key Takeaway:

A professional end of tenancy clean can help reduce stress during moving and leave the property looking fresh, hygienic, and ready for handover.
